A slow start for Aurora didn't end up biting them in the end, using a few tricks up its sleeve and tough defense in the second half to defeat Omaha Gross on the road 35-21 Friday afternoon.
Andrew Bell hauled in a pair of touchdown passes from Ethan Shaw while Jameson Herzberg tossed his own touchdown in the second half to Daniel Elge on a double pass.
After starting 0-2, Aurora has won its past two games and sets up a homecoming clash with an old friend -- the York Dukes -- next Friday night.
