With only 11 girls smiling in the team photo, one would think that High Plains is shorthanded coming into the 2020 season.
However, with four returning starters and a pair of seniors who have contributed for three seasons, hopes are high in the Lady Storm camp about a possible postseason run and best year in school history.
High Plains enters the 2020 season under new leadership with Brittany Klingsporn -- a Hampton graduate -- taking over the program.
