Aurora’s volleyball team has found a new gear as the matches in the coming weeks continue to increase with importance.
The Lady Huskies extended its win streak to four games after a four-set win on the road at Hastings Thursday, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22 and 25-16.
Aurora coach Andrew Murillo explained that the recent run of success has been a lot of fun because of how the team is getting it done.
“Winning is always great, but I think for our team it is the manner in which we have been winning that has been the most satisfying,” he said. “We have beaten teams by executing our game plans, staying hungry, and building trust with one another. We have been talking about how the manner in which you win or lose should be the biggest indicator of a high performing team.”
