Through most of the Aurora Legion COVID Series, any time the Pinnacle Bank White team made a move, Aurora Cooperative Red’s was bigger. That held true through the final two games last week.
A big seventh inning carried the AC Red squad to a 7-1 win Thursday night before forcing the only run-rule game of the season -- a 14-5 win Sunday to wrap up the COVID Series at Mitchell Field.
The game Thursday night was arguably one of the most competitive and intense games of the season to date. The scoring was low and every pitch seemed to matter more than the last.
