Mary Jane Harney, age 91, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Memorial Community Care in Aurora. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, at Westside Covenant Church, Aurora, with visitation at 10 a.m. Rev. Karl Larson will officiate.

Lora Bonsall

Lora Leigh Bonsall was born September 29, 1969 in Burwell, to Dennis and DeeDii (Edythe Chaffin) Bonsall of Burwell.  She was raised on the family ranch north of Burwell. She died at Bryan Medical Center West Campus in Lincoln, on October 1, 2021 after a short illness not related to Covid-19.

Merlin (Merle) Yoder

Merlin (Merle) Yoder, 82, of Grand Island, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Grand Island Good Samaritan Village from natural causes. Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 6 at All Faiths Funeral Home.  Daniel Naranjo will officiate.

Laura Goertzen

Laura Goertzen age 85, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 4 at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church near Murphy.  Rev. Mark Dunham and Rev. Joe Mullarkey will officiate.  Interment will be at 11 a.m.

Edmund Ulmer

Sutton resident Laurence Edmund Ulmer, 84, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Sutton Community Home in Sutton. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the Federated Church with Rev. Mary Scott officiating.

Ina Krautsdorfer

On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, Ina Rae (Newman) Krautsdorfer, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 75 from complications caused by Covid-19. Ina was born August 30, 1946 on her family’s farm near Aurora.

Harold Epp

Harold R. Epp, son of Gerhard M. Epp and Helena (Huebert) Epp was born on January 7, 1925, in York County, near Charleston. He went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2021, at the age of 96 at Legacy Square in Henderson.

Roland "Bud" Pence

R. M. “Bud” Pence passed away with family at his side on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Aurora. Roland McKay Pence, “Bud”  was born in Aurora, on May 25, 1924 to Roy and Daisy (McKay) Pence.   ​ Bud attended school in Aurora, and graduated in 1942.  He enlisted in the Army Air Force Aviation Cadets.
