Deborah Abramson, 69, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Memorial Hospital.Deborah’s wishes for cremation.  Family Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024. There will not be a visitation.   Inurnment will be at the Aurora Cemetery.

Rosemary E. Wilson, 92, of Omaha, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024 at Legato Living - Legacy, in Omaha. Visitation and a wake service were held at the John A. Gentleman Chapel on Monday, September 16, from 4-7 p.m.

Frank Miller

Frank D. Miller, 85, of Central City, died on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care Center in Central City.  Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating.

A memorial service will be held on September 14, 2024, at the First Christian Church in Aurora at 4 p.m., followed by interment at the Aurora Cemetery. A BBQ and celebration of life will subsequently take place at Dawn and Heath’s shop at 621 13th Street in Aurora.

Myrna Schaffert

Myrna Lynn Schaffert, age 73, of Rogers, AR passed away on Wednesday, August 28 peacefully in her home after a 9-year battle with cancer. She was born in Alliance, lived in Grand Island and graduated from Aurora High School. After high school Lynn graduated from Grand Island Beauty School.

Laura R. Deets, age 67, of Pleasanton, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Mount Carmel Home Keens Memorial in Kearney.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Pleasanton Evangelical Free Church with Jim Wilson officiating.
