Patricia Ross

Body

Patricia Ross, 90, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away peacefully December 12, 2021. She was born January 22, 1931, in Georgetown, Illinois, to Odie and Virgina Kilby. Later,  her adoptive father, Dr. Ray H. Reynolds, established  a dental practice in Aurora.
Patricia graduated from Aurora High School in 1949, and married Doyle Ross in 1951. After living in Aurora for several years, they moved to Tempe, Arizona, in 1962. They would live in Arizona for the remainder of her life, except for 1971-1975, when they briefly returned to York.
Her focus was family.  She was always helpful, always loving, and  fully committed to the well-being of her children and husband.
Patricia also held various positions during her working life.  She helped her father in his dental office as a teenager; she later worked as a church secretary, a school cafeteria server, and a nursing home aide. She lived a life of service – a Beta Sigma Phi member, a Cub Scout Leader, a volunteer for children’s clothing drives. She was a selfless helper and an honest soul – a friend to everyone she met. It has often been said – “Everyone loves Patty.” A woman of great faith, she lived a life of  integrity and honor.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Virgina Reynolds, and a brother, Dick Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband of 70-plus years, Doyle B. Ross,  her children, Julie Sego and Jeffrey Ross, and her younger brother, Dr. Harry H. Reynolds; grandchildren Quinten Ross and Lauren Sego.

She was interred at the National Veterans Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arizona, on December 22, 2021.
