Michelle "Mick" Van Luchene

Michelle “Mick” Van Luchene, 55 of Grand Island died unexpectantly on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Celebration of Life to honor Mick will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Balz Reception Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a pet rescue of her pleasing.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Mick was born on May 9, 1966 in Grand Island, the daughter of Jim Denman and Carole (Boroff) Vejvoda. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High class of 1984. On July 6, 1991 Mick was united in marriage to Scott Van Luchene. This union was blessed with children, Aaron and Jordyn.
Mick was a former manager of Whiskey Creek, served in management for HyVee and has loved working at Balz Sports Bar for the past 15 years. She was an outdoor person, enjoying the sun, swimming in her pool and loved all animals.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Aaron (Amber) Van Luchene and their beautiful newborn baby, Elizabeth; her daughter, Jordyn Van Luchene; her fiancé, Cory Frederiksen; her father, Jim Denman; brother, Greg (Wendy) Befort; sister, Tammy (Todd) Bumann and nieces and nephew, Kennedy, Ashley, Danny, Kara and Paige.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Carole.
