Michael Johnson

Michael Todd Johnson, 59, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ.  Mike was born on Sept. 13, 1961, in Central City to Dale and Stanla (Scherffius) Johnson. Mike graduated from Aurora High School in 1980.  He went on to attend Mid Plains Community College in North Platte and University of Nebraska Kearney.  Mike had resided in the Phoenix area for many years.
Mike is survived by his children: Maxwell Michael Johnson, Shelby Lee Perez and Karlie Colleen Lestina; grandchildren: Ava Johnson, Olivia Perez and Aubreyanna Lestina.  Mike’s Guardians and their children: Bob and Gwynne Kuhn, Brett (Tami) Kuhn, Kyle Kuhn and Jim (Maura) Kuhn; siblings: Mitch (Steph) Johnson, Lana (Mike) Hall, Rick (Kate) Johnson and Chris Johnson; nieces and nephews: Brooke Johnson, Schyler Johnson, Kennedy Johnson, Thomas (Lindsey) Hall, Katie (Mason) Brodine and Cole Johnson.  Devoted business partner and friend: Maggie Newnam.
Mike had a big heart and a kind soul. He will be missed by many.
Solt Wagner Funeral Home of Central City is in charge of arrangements. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
