Marjorie Mae Snodgrass, age 89, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was born September 21, 1934, to Harley and Verda (Skinner) Warren on a farm near Giltner, the youngest of six children.  Marjorie was a graduate of Aurora High School and Hastings College. She taught one year at Minden High School and worked in property insurance claims in Chicago, moving back to Lincoln in 1962. She met Delbert O. Snodgrass while working at the Lincoln Journal. They were married August 1, 1964. Two sons were born to this union, Curtis Owen and Steven Erio.  Marjorie was active in the First Christian Church, serving in various positions including as the first woman chair of the board and for many years as treasurer of First Christian Church Foundation. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter ES, supported Lincoln Literacy, and enjoyed the many musical and dramatic presentations in Lincoln.  
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, husband of twenty-three years Delbert.  
Survived by her sons Curt (Phi) Snodgrass and son Steve (Jill) Snodgrass, and four grandchildren, Claire, Mara, Eden, and Bennett Snodgrass, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at First Christian Church, 430 South 16th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Burial be at Lincoln Memorial Park on December 23, 2023 at 2 p.m.  Suggested memorials to First Christian Church Foundation, Lincoln Literary, and Planned Parenthood.  For more information go to www.lincolnfh.com.
