Jim Ellyett

Jim Ellyett, 76, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, passed away September 1, 2023.
Jim was the oldest of five children born to James and Dorothy (Wolfe) Ellyett Jr. As a child in a military family Jim got the experience of growing up in several countries abroad before his family settled in Nebraska. He graduated from Aurora High School in 1965. He went on to continue his education earning his associate degree in electronic technology.
He worked for several years in the technology industry before his career later relocated to Northwest Arkansas where he accepted a position with LaBarge, from which he later retired.
While in Arkansas he met his loving wife, Pat Logan. They were united in marriage on October 23, 1999. This marriage blessed him with stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed playing golf, collecting stamps, watching gameshows, and his dog Molly. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and could often be found in the stands watching their events.
He is survived by his wife Pat of the home, their children Mike Logan, Kim McAlevey (Craig), Bill Logan (Heather); grandchildren Bryce and Brok Logan, Ebony Kohrs, Patrick, Sarah, and Hannah McAlevey, great-grandchildren Gavin Rist, Beckett Kohrs, and Harper Logan, siblings, Greg Ellyett (Joan, Amy Wiseman (Mike), Marge Czaplewski (Mike) and Patti Ellyett, nieces and nephews Andrea Wiseman, Sara Boles, RJ Banse, and Elliot Banse; three great-nephews, a great-niece, a great-great nephew; and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Golden Baptist Church, with Bro Shaun Crawford officiating. Memorial donations may be made to S.
