On January 31, 1968, she was united in marriage to Chuck Bowman in Hastings, during a blizzard. They lived in Hastings for a year and half before Chuck joined the United States Air Force. During that time, Terri lived in Burwell. To this union, two sons were born: Paul and Todd. After Chuck came back from the service, they lived in Hastings for 12 years. In 1982, they moved to Fullerton, where Chuck started his own insurance agency. Terri became a florist in the community and obtained her Master Florist degree in the late 1980s. She also served on the Fullerton Library board, PEO Chapter AG, and she served on multiple board positions and bell choir with the First Presbyterian Church and Fullerton Community Church. She also helped coordinate the Samaritan’s Purse for the churches and helped deliver the presents. She had a love of watching birds and tending to her flowers.
