Norma "Jean" Paneitz

Norma “Jean” Paneitz, 85, of Grand Island passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Dan Bremer will officiate. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at Aurora Cemetery.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
Jean was born on March 16, 1936 at Aurora, only daughter of Lester and Minnie (Rains) Lentz.
She received her education in Aurora. On April 8, 1956 she married Ardean Paneitz. They made their home in Hampton before settling in Grand Island.
Jean was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved to play Bingo and dabbled in many different crafts. Most of all she adored her grandson and loved being “Grammie.”
Jean is survived by her daughter, Amy (Dan) Harvey of Grand Island; grandson, Zane Harvey of Grand Island; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Lentz of Grand Island and Ann Lentz of Cedar Rapids, IA; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ardean; brothers, Lester “Pete” Lentz and Gerald “Jerry” Lentz.
