Aurora’s Hutsell scores seven goals in three-game stretch

What a weekend for Ellie Hutsell and her soccer teammates.
The Aurora junior tallied seven goals during the Central Conference tournament played at Streeter Park. It wound up being a third place effort for the Lady Huskies after a 5-0 win over Seward, a 4-3 loss to Columbus Lakeview and a 2-0 win over GINW.
As a whole, Aurora coach Micayla Dunn was super excited with how the team played throughout the tournament and pointed out that with the solid play, bigger things are to come.
“I am so proud of how our girls played this weekend,” she said. “They came to battle and make a statement and I think that we did that. We are playing really good soccer right now and I hope that we can use the momentum through the last few weeks of the season.”
Aurora’s conference tournament began in dominating fashion Thursday, defeating Seward 5-0.
