Aurora's win over Grand Island Northwest Tuesday was a bit sweeter.
The Lady Huskies held off the late Viking rally to win in five, 22-25, 26-24, 25-16, 24-26 and 15-6 at home Tuesday.
As it turns out, it was Aurora's first win in volleyball over GINW since November of 2014, a 15-match win streak snapped.
After losing the fourth, Aurora was white-hot in the fifth, racing out to a 5-2 lead before three Kasey Schuster ace serves and two Kassidy Hudson kills gave Aurora an 11-4 lead.
