New chef has green light to grow menu at JoJo’s Gelato

Nine months after moving into their newly built restaurant on Highway 34, JoJo’s Gelato is introducing a new full-time chef to the operation, hoping to take the locally-owned eatery to the next level.
Owners Jim and Marni Danhauer said they are pleased with the community’s support of their restaurant and now look forward to taking a step they believe will make it even better.
“We want to take JoJo’s to the next level and offer the community something else, something here local that they don’t have to go to Grand Island for,” Jim Danhauer said. “Having a chef here will provide that for us.”
