With nearly 2/3 of the total budget raised, construction has begun at site

    Many of the folks who attended the Memorial Day services at the Hampton Cemetery took a few minutes to pose for a historic photo op before going in for the luncheon at the City Auditorium on May 25. Heading over to the southeast corner of the lot at the Aud, about 40 people posed for a picture in front of the site of the future Hampton Veterans Memorial Park currently under construction there.&...
