Hamilton County received enough precipitation in 2024 to not only recover from the drought of the previous two years but it also turned out to be the wettest of the last five years. The second wettest year since 2020 was the year 2021 which, at 28.

NSP reports sex offenders living in Hamilton County

The number of registered sex offenders living in Hamilton County remains at 18 as 2025 begins, the same number listed by the Nebraska State Patrol at the beginning of 2024.Two names were added to the list for 2025 and two were removed.

Giltner High School senior Giovanna Nogara has made it her mission to try everything can she during her U.S. exchange.The exchange student spent most of her life with parents and brother in the city of Curitiba, located in the southern region of Brazil, with four million people calling it home.

One of the Edgerton Explorit Center’s latest attractions has drawn in eager riders who want to saddle up on its horse riding simulator.The horse riding simulator was started by Edgerton executive director Mary Molliconi, who came up with the concept two years ago.

A new tool recently acquired by the art department at Hampton Public Schools is helping students learn 21st Century artistic skills and recently saved the new Hampton daycare center a great deal of money in recognizing those who had contributed to the project.
Mike Dudley is a professor at McPherson College in McPherson, Kan. For eleven years he has taught students within the college’s auto restoration program. It is the only college in the U.S. where a student earn a degree in automotive restoration.
