The Aurora Planning Commission approved three requests from the Aurora Development Corporation on the future of the Mission Critical Subdivision south of Aurora during its meeting Monday night.
The current caretakers are seen here among the flowers of Ernie’s Garden. From left are Barbara and Britton Bailey along with the founder’s wife, Lynda Ochsner. Since artist and Alice M. Farr Library custodian Ernie Oschner passed away last fall, the Baileys have continued to take care of the garden with Lynda’s approval.

Parents can feel a little less stressed about preschool options now that Aurora United Methodist TLC Preschool is adding classes on Friday starting in the fall.

Go Big Give drive sets new record

The Edgerton Explorit Center was fifth among all organizations participating in the 10th annual Go Big Give event to raise money for nonprofits in the four-county area. Edgerton brought in 120 donations worth $83,816 in this year’s record-breaking campaign which took place on Thursday.
