Just a year after being appointed to the United States Senate Pete Ricketts told local constituents Monday in Aurora that he is focused on pushing back against the Biden Administration on issues involving overregulation, overtaxation and overspending.

HCF seeks public comment on endowment bill

The Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF) is asking the public to comment on a bill currently being considered by the legislature which deals with endowment funds, however, the window for comment is short.
This was the scene at 2nd and G Streets in Hampton last Tuesday afternoon after workers repaired a water main break at that intersection. Village water users have been under a boil order for a week since the entire water system had to be shut down to make the repair.

The boil order that had been placed on Hampton Village water users more than a week ago has been lifted according to village Utility Supt. Chris Friesen. He reported Tuesday afternoon that water samples taken on Monday had come back showing no traces of E. coli bacteria.
