Runza to close during construction of new restaurant

The Runza Restaurant in Aurora will serve its last meal for a while July 5, then be closed for approximately four months while building a new, slightly larger structure on the same Highway 34 site.

Aaron Grenfell, owner/ operator of the Aurora Runza franchise, reported that demolition of the existing structure will begin July 8, with opening of the new store tentatively planned for early November.
