Generalized proclamation draws concern Monday

Body

One of two proclamations on the agenda for the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners meeting Monday was a proclamation against the Biden Administration’s 30 by 30 executive order.
The proclamation was met by a full board room and followed a similar proclamation, which established Hamilton as a Second Amendment Sanctuary county. (See related front page story)
“We have an administration in Washington, D.C., that’s very active,” Chairman Rich Nelson began. “And we feel that the 30 by 30 is also important.”
Hamilton County Clerk Jill DeMers read the county’s 30 by 30 proclamation into record in its entirety. Said proclamation can be found, along with the Second Amendment Sanctuary proclamation, on the county’s website.
