Phillips, Aurora depts. recognized for successful code save

A reminder of the fragility of life, as well as the thankless duties of those tasked with protecting, or saving, the public, June 21 was an impactful day in the lives of several first responders in Aurora and Phillips, as well as one Phillips resident and the man they all saved.
All those involved in the heroic day were recognized Monday evening for performing a successful “code save.” The Code Save Award is presented to individuals who assisted a patient in cardiac arrest that had a positive outcome.
