ISSI’s $1 million contract approved

Joining the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners for Monday’s meeting was South Central Economic Development Executive Director Sharon Hueftle.
Hueftle was on hand to push a current project and $1 million Community Development Block Grant by International Sensor Systems (ISSI) in Aurora. Commissioners originally agreed to the grant in December of 2022. 
In essence this is set to provide the company a performance-based loan using federal COVID-relief funds which will not have to be repaid. 
Commissioners were reminded that when they approved the application in December, they also approved a number of other documents.
