While high school prepares many students for further education and entry into the workforce, there are some who would say that they don’t always prepare young adults for real life.
That is where the senior seminar at High Plains Community Schools (HPC) has found a way to fill the gap through senior seminar. 
Middle and high school principal Cameron Hudson explained that it’s meant to be a culminating experience for the senior class that is broken down into three different rotating sections.
“It’s a graduation requirement at High Plains,” he said. “It’s non-graded and doesn’t affect your GPA but it is a requirement that you participate in senior seminar.”
