The Hampton School Board accepted the resignation Monday of Brad Feik, who is just completing his second year as high school principal.
“I really enjoyed and loved my time at Hampton,” Feik said in a brief interview. “I met some amazing people in this wonderful town. I want to say thanks for all your support over the last couple years. I’ll be cheering from afar.”
The board accepted Feik’s letter of resignation, which becomes effective at the end of June. The only other action item Monday was consideration of a pay increase for Supt. Holly Herzberg and elementary principal Angie Arndt. The board approved the 3.5 percent increase, which was the same percentage change approved for teachers next year.
In other business during Monday’s brief monthly meeting, Herzberg announced that she is now a member of an ad-hoc committee being formed...
