Members of the Giltner Village Board of Trustees voted last week to have Logan Eastman fill a temporary board seat. There were two candidates for the position, with Eastman approved as the board’s choice over Glenn Nielsen by a vote of 3-1.
The position was left vacant by Tom Lambert, who resigned on July 21. Eastman will take the remainder of Lambert’s two-year term, which comes up for election in 2024.
“It’s just basically to fill the position to help keep the board running the way it needs to,” explained Village Clerk Joan Eastman.
