Little girls were decked out in colorful dresses and their dads were all smiles during Sunday’s third annual Daddy/Daughter Dance at the Bremer Center.
Event coordinator Taylor Willis said she was thrilled to see the large turnout and growing enthusiasm for a feel-good night out.
“I thought it would be fun for the community to have and I also wanted to do something for the town,” Willis explained. “We will be making a donation, and this year our proceeds will go to the movie theater.”
The 12th Street Cinema provided popcorn for the event, which drew an estimated 120 people to the Bremer Center. Willis recalled that the debut event was held in 2019 at the Vet’s Club. It was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19, and last year she moved the venue to the Bremer Center to provide more room.
