    In this week’s issue, ANR introduces a special section designed to pay tribute to Hamilton County first responders – the men and women who stand ready at a moment’s notice to answer the call to fight fires and give medical aid to the sick and injured as well as the officers who to enforce our laws and patrol our streets and highways. In Lights & Sirens readers will be introduced to these hometown heroes, and will learn more about their supporting organizations. Look in Section D of this weeks print or e-edition for articles profiling the Aurora Police Department, Aurora Fire and EMS, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the Nebraska State Patrol troopers who patrol our highways and the fire and rescue departments that serve the villages of Hampton, Marquette, Giltner, Phillips and Hordville as well as their surrounding areas.
