To many people, the great outdoors is a place where they enjoy spending their time. For Alex Lohrmeyer the outdoors held a budding career with Nebraska Game and Parks.
“I’ve been working for them for about three or four years now,” he explained. “My most recent job I was doing was the superintendent of Smith Falls and that was a six-month position. I worked a lot with the public and helped manage that park area.”
Lohrmeyer’s journey began with a summer job at Mormon Island in Grand Island. That led him to Chadron State Park where he worked for two years before moving on to Smith Falls.
