Nebraska Extension ag experts were back at it again last week with another, timely, agriculture webinar. Jessica Groskopf, Nebraska Extension Educator and Ag Economist, kicked off the discussion via Zoom.
“Today we will look at the projected input costs and commodity prices to prepare for the 2022 production season amid the price volatility that we continue to experience,” she began. “We’ll cover how soil test results can help set fertilizer application priorities and how customizing crop budgets can help you know your cost of production and inform your 2022 marketing strategies.”
To set the stage, she added, it’s important to think about the fact that “nobody really knows what’s going on” in terms of the actual market numbers in the future.
