Snoberger relishing FFA leadership opportunity
Storm senior thankful for ranging chapter opportunities
Emma Snoberger has always had a knack for the farm life and taking care of animals to the point where she’s found her calling.
The High Plains Community senior grew up showing animals and has taken that passion to becoming the HPC FFA chapter president.
“Since I was little I always liked agriculture and all the people around it,” Snoberger said. “I really took an interest in the animal part of it.”
Snoberger grew up on a farm just outside of Hampton and was exposed at a young age to cows, horses and other farm animals. She took an interest in showing animals at the county fair, which has blossomed into developing her own brand.
“I’ve started raising my own cattle,” Snoberger noted. “I’ve kept some of my show heifers, bred them and this year I had two of my first calves.”
Calving season is a fun time of year for Snoberger, enjoying the process while taking care of those animals and watching them grow.
