Aurora’s boys soccer team is still a work in progress, but it’s not a time to panic.
At least that’s how Aurora coach Madison Farris looks at it following a trio of losses to open the season last week.
Aurora started the season with a 4-0 loss at home against Schuyler before back-to-back losses against Class A North Platte and York, both 3-0.
“Overall, we saw some really good things. We communicated well and worked hard to be mistake free,” Farris explained. “Because of that, we played really tight. We gave up some space and weren’t aggressive as we wanted to be. We have a lot of new guys playing with each other for the first time and two weeks of practice isn’t a lot.”
