Board raises base pay to $37,750
The Hampton School Board accepted a retirement letter from Deb Carlson and approved a negotiated agreement for teachers during a brief meeting Monday night.
Board member Ryan Bamesberger reported that negotiations went well with representatives of the teacher’s union, as both parties agreed on a proposal to raise the base salary from $37,000 to $37,750 for the coming school year. Health benefits were expected to increase 2.96 percent, bringing the compensation package up 3.05 percent.
