Evidence of election fraud not examined
Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor:
I welcome the opportunity to respond to Monte Burger’s challenge to the validity of my previous article concerning Senators Sasse and Fischer violating their oath to defend and uphold the Constitution by voting to validate electors selected from several states by an egregious and...

Betterhalf irreplacable as new right-hand man
Butch Furse
This column may be a little (or a lot shorter) than previous columns. I took a tumble this week and injured a shoulder, thus also affecting the use of the right arm and fingers. My computer keyboarding is now pretty slow with the limited use of my right hand fingers.

Anything but average
Kurt Johnson
Aurora is “about average.”
That’s not a sentence, or a sentiment, local residents are accustomed to reading or hearing, though it’s the general conclusion of a recent study focused on retail shopping trends.

A 2020 ode to Big Red
Dave Bradley
The year 2020 was quite a time,
and one best left far behind,

ANR column no place for politics
Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor:
While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I feel that someone who is paid to write a “community news” column for the paper should save their political opinions for the “opinion” section of the newspaper; that is what it is for.

Betterhalf gets first dibs on daily sports section
Butch Furse
We don’t live in a normal household. Before you jump to conclusions, let’s us do a little explaining.
The Betterhalf and I seem to have a race, which I generally lose. The race that I am referring to is the race to who gets to read the sports section of our daily state newspaper first.

Another Bama title
Dave Bradley
Alabama and Ohio State kick off in less than two hours so it’s time for me to get my game face on.
Up until now I really haven’t paid much attention, but that’s okay, because these two teams have been here before.
