They say a legacy is planting seeds in a garden that you’ll never get to see, and Gary and Shari Peters have found a way for the story of their son Jacob to live on for generations to come through their book, “Stronger.

Nebraska continues to grow, up 7.4 percent over the last 10 years, according to initial population data released recently by the U.S. Census Bureau. Nebraska reached nearly 2 million people in the 2020 census with a total state population of 1,961,504 people.

The Aurora City Council approved the final plat for the newly proposed Aurora Community Clubhouse Subdivision last week, paving the way for a project expected to begin later this year.
