Home cooking puts Huskies back on track

The Aurora boys soccer team got back on track with three games in a four-day stretch, winning two of the three. The Huskies dropped a 4-0 game to Kearney Catholic April 6 before defeating Crete 2-1 Thursday and York 3-2 in overtime for a makeup game.

Aurora’s Alexander Wheeler came up just short on this header attempt during second half play against Grand Island Northwest March 30, a 3-0 loss to the Vikings.

Coming off a loss earlier in the week, the Aurora boys soccer team answered the bell. The Huskies dropped a 3-0 contest to area rival Grand Island Northwest in its first home game March 30, but bounced back for a 5-0 win at Columbus Lakeview Thursday.
