This will be Scott Frost’s fourth season in Lincoln, but he’ll try to even up his opening day record to 2-2 after losing at Ohio State a year ago by the score of 52-17.
He’ll do so at Illinois on Aug. 28 with a fourth year starter at quarterback and numerous five-year super seniors on defense.

Following the completion of the annual spring game, Nebraska’s football program is officially on hiatus.
And that’s no doubt a good thing, giving players a mental break after the COVID-plagued 2020 campaign, leading right into winter conditioning and spring ball.

Listed on the Huskers.com website are incoming freshmen, true freshmen, walk-on freshmen, redshirt freshmen as well as, you guessed it, COVID freshmen.
