Dolores Johns, 85, of Elm Creek passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elm Creek. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Elm Creek.

Donald R. Andersen, 84, of Hordville, left his earthly body on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg with Pastor Ricardo Riqueza officiating.

Shirley (Eckerson) White

Shirley Ann (Eckerson) White, the daughter of Ray S. and Margaret (Lewis) Eckerson, was born at Aurora on Oct. 27, 1931 and died in Tyler, Texas, after suffering a stroke, on June 9, 2022, at the age of 90. Shirley was united in marriage to Alvin White on Sept. 23, 1967 in Manhattan, Kans.

JoAnn Landenberger

JoAnn M. Landenberger, age 86, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 2 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora.

Mary Haase, age 85, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Memorial Community Care in Aurora. Mary Beth Haase, the daughter of Cecil D. and Mabel I. (Pearson) Romsdal, was born on the family farm near Bradshaw, on April 11, 1937.

Alan Danielson, age 61, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 27 at the Presbyterian U.C.C. in Aurora. Rev. Penny Schulz will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7  p.m.

Patricia (Pat) Lynn Shanes, 78, of Aurora, passed away June 21, 2022. She was buried per her wishes in a private family ceremony near her childhood home at Rushville, Missouri. Pat was born on May 13, 1944 to William and Laverne (Witte) Magers in Atchison, Kansas.

Deloris Howell, age 81, of Aurora, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at Westfield Quality Care. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, June 30 at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday prior to the service on at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.

Larry Evans, age 88, of Stockham, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at CHI Heath-St. Francis in Grand Island. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 27 at the Stockham Community Church. Rev. Paul Nauman and Rev. Rick Bartek will officiate.

Larry Friesen

Larry John Friesen, age 75 of Hampton, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1946 at the hospital in American Falls, Idaho to Henry and Louise (Isaak) Friesen.
