Ronita Siebert
Ronita Siebert, age 86, formerly of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island.
Ronita’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a private service in the Mennonite Cemetery southeast of Henderson on 5 Road. No Visitation. Ronita Siebert, the daughter of Rocky and Maude Ziemer, was born in Minturn, Colorado on December 8, 1938 and passed away in Grand Island, on August 6, 2025, at the age of 86.
She grew up in Minturn, Colorado and graduated from high school. Ronita went on to get her Bachelor of Nursing degree. She was passionate about her career and was on the cutting edge of orthopedic trauma treatment. She was able to practice as a nurse in the places she lived, including Colorado, Vancouver and Nebraska.
Ronita was married to Elton ‘Perry’ Siebert on September 1, 1988 at Aurora. Ronita was the Director of Nursing at Hamilton Manor for many years before retiring. They enjoyed their life together. Perry passed away on November 23, 2014.
Ronita enjoyed being a Harley girl, loved working in her yard, adopting stray cats and watching her birds. Her grandson, Tyler was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elton; son, Mark Zeman and several siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are his son, Michael (Deanna) Zeman of Grand Island; grandson, Tyler Zeman; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
