Nancy Neeman
Nancy Jean Neeman, 80, of Phillips, passed away on January 9, 2025, surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th at 2 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, with Dan Naranjo officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, from 5-7 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the Phillips Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Nancy was born on October 7, 1944 in Nebraska City, to Lester and Anna (Childers) Sammons. She was raised and received her education in the Nebraska City area.
On May 28,1962, Nancy was united in marriage to Lewellyn “Lew” Neeman. Four children were born into this union. Nancy was a stay-at-home mom until her kids were grown. She then worked as a cook for CHI Health- St. Francis for 22 years, and she was also a manager at Sonic Drive-In.
Nancy attended Phillips Methodist Church. She used to babysit the neighborhood kids around Phillips. In her spare time, she enjoyed going fishing out on the boat at the lake. Camping was one of her favorite things. She would go on long walks and find treasures with her grandchildren. She loved to dance and listen to polka music. Nancy also like to sew, bake, and go to garage sales. She enjoyed gardening and preserving the food. She loved to cheer on her great grandkids at softball and baseball games. She cherished family time.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Les Neeman (Nikki Contreres), Rick (Sunday) Neeman, Lorrie (Ron) Lindell; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren; and her sister, Velma (Jim) Garr: and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lew; infant daughter, Georgia; grandson, Nathanael Esquitin; great granddaughter, Alyssa West; sister, Geraldine “Jerry” Myers; and daughter-in-law, Kim Neeman.
