Clinton Emery Presnell, 92, of Grand Island passed away on April 22, 2025 at his home in Grand Island, surrounded by his loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28, at 11 a.m., at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Memorials are suggested to The Good Life Rescue in Aurora. Clinton was born on April 19, 1933 in Bradshaw, the son of Clinton Edgar Presnell and Josie Margaret Myers. Clinton was the youngest of ten children, growing up in Deshler. Clint graduated from Deshler High School in 1951 and joined the United States Air Force, serving overseas during the Korean conflict years at Wheelus Airfield in Tripoli, Libya. Upon completing military service, he returned home to Nebraska and met Gloria Jean Krings whom he married on October 12, 1957.  Clinton and Gloria were the parents to four children: Michelle Marie Ostermeier (Gary) of St. Paul, Melanie Jean Trummer (Rick) of Omaha, Michael Clinton Presnell (Jutta) of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Mark Anthony Presnell (Peg) of Lawerence, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were residents of Fremont, Aurora, Rugby, North Dakota, Hampton and Grand Island.
Clinton was preceded in death by his wife; parents; siblings, Edgar, Graydon, Stacy, Donald, Ralph, John, Margaret, Marvelle Jean, and Frank; brother-in-law, Richard Krings; and sister-in-law, Carol Krings.
