Bruce ‘Red’ Dean Larson, the son of Robert ‘The Bear’ and Betty L. (Black) Larson, was born at Aurora, on September 15, 1957 and passed away in Aurora, on August 14, 2024, at the age of 66.
He grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School in 1976. In 1983, Red married Rose Schneider and they had two children, Rob and Melissa.
Red followed in his late father’s footsteps and worked for Grosshans Sales & Service of Aurora for over 40 years.   He held various jobs thereafter until retirement.
Red had a love for keeping things meticulously organized, everything had it’s place. Sometimes you would find that he had organized your own stuff.  He had a passion for cars and working on them. If he could fix it himself he would.
Red never had a lot to say, but when he did you could almost guarantee it would be something you wouldn’t expect. He loved to make people laugh.
During retirement he spent a lot of time mowing yards for family members, which was something else he was particular about. He also spent time training his cat Natty to do various tricks, he loved this companionship they shared.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brent Larson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Rose Larson of Aurora; two children, Rob Larson of Aurora and Melissa Larson of Aurora; sister, Brenda (Rich) Edwards of Omaha; two nieces Madison Edwards of Lincoln and Morgan Edwards and many other family members and friends.
