Carol Marie Wall, 79, of Aurora, formerly of Polk, died on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Visitation will be held at the Solt-Wagner Community Room in Central City on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  Private family interment will be held at the Central City Cemetery.

Carol Marie was born on November 24, 1945 to Carl and Francis (Carlson) Carlstrom in Osceola.  She grew up in the Polk area and graduated from Polk High School in 1964. Carol was united in marriage to Jerry Wall on September 12, 1968 in Henderson, and later divorced. To this union two children were born.  Carol then attended cosmetology school in Grand Island. Following cosmetology school she began working at Osceola Hospital where she was a housekeeper and cook.  She then worked at the Stromsburg Nursing Home, Coach’s Corner in Polk, The Hearthstone in York, and at the Central City Mall.  
Carol was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Polk.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and was a member of several book clubs and really cherished her Bible study group.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Craig (Crystal) Wall of Giltner, Kevin (Cindy) Wall of Central City; her siblings, Bill (Venida) Carlstrom of Benedict, Becky Carlstrom of Polk, Tom (Teri) Carlstrom of Winnatoon, Roger Carlstrom of Polk, Steve (Julie) Carlstrom of Paxton, Kenny (Marcia) Carlstrom of Polk and Denny (Kathie) Carlstrom of Polk; her grandchildren, Shelby (Anthony) Casto, Samantha Wall, Michaela Wall and Isaiah Wall; and her great-grandchildren Dustin, Declan, Brynlee and Emersyn.
