Jacqueline was born on May 11, 1958 to Lawrence and Gloria (Hult) Sager in Fremont. She grew up in Denver, Chapman, Central City and Creighton areas. She then moved to Omaha and back to Denver. While in Denver she worked at the Denver Airport driving shuttle for Thrifty Car Rental. She was also a guidance counselor, helping troubled youth at YOU in Denver. In 2005 she moved back to Chapman for a while until finally settling in Marquette. While in Nebraska she worked security at Fonner Park and the State Fair, as well as at Casey’s General Store in Aurora. She remained at Casey’s until her health would no longer allow her to work.
Jacqueline loved her music. She was a backup singer for Suzie Quatro, and once even started her own all-girl band called, “JJ and The Dreamers”. She also loved animals. She rode horses in 4-H when she was younger and would take in any stray animals that came around. Her dog Chance was very important to her recently as well. She was a diehard Huskers fan, and was a season ticket holder for many years. She was baptized into the Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters; Sue (Abe) Soto of Omaha and Gloria Jean (Ronald) Kortum of Chapman, her Partner in Life; Laura Chadwick of Marquette, and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister; Sandra Sue Wiese, and brothers; Jackie Sager and Billy Sager.
