Konnie Phelps

Konnie K. Phelps, age 73, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora.
Konnie’s wishes were to be cremated.  Private Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Hampton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Aurora Animal Shelter. Condolences may be sent to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
Konnie K. Phelps, the daughter of Marvin L. and Ardenee Y. (Oberg) Kroeker, was born at York, on March 23, 1951 and passed away in Aurora, on February 19, 2025.  
Konnie attended school in Hampton and Grand Island, graduating from Northwest High School in 1969.
Konnie and Keith A. Phelps were married on October 30, 1970 in Grand Island.   She was employed by the family business, Phelps Radiator Service in Grand Island, for over 30 years, retiring in 2011.  
Surviving relatives include her husband, Keith; two sons, Alan (Anne) of Washington D.C. and David (Amy) of rural Hampton; one granddaughter, Josephine of Washington D.C.
