Mike Clymer

Mike Clymer, age 66, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at his home.
Mike’s wishes were to be cremated.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.  Rev. Mary Scott will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. Michael LeRoy Clymer, the son of Walter and Blanche (Sughrue) Clymer, was born at York, on March 15, 1958 and passed away in Aurora, on January 30, 2025.  
Mike grew up in York and graduated from Weeping Water High School and UNL before becoming a CPA.   He made many friends through work serving the Aurora community and surrounding hospitals. 
Mike was married to Kristi Tuttle and they had four children; Kevin, Jason, Nick and Shelby.  
Mike enjoyed gambling, traveling, sports, movies, music, politics, range shooting and had a passion for cars.   He also enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ken and Greg Clymer.  
Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Kevin (Andrea) Clymer of Omaha, Jason (Veronica) Clymer of Papillion, Nick Clymer of Aurora and Shelby Clymer of Salt Lake City, UT and 6 grandchildren, Makenzie and Myles, Daphne, Liam, Aiden and Isabel.   He is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Pam) Clymer of Weeping Water, Corey (Maggie) Clymer of Azle, TX, Jerilyn Wilkinson of Lincoln and Julie (Roger) Smid of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Gloria Clymer of Yuma, AZ, nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
