Todd Tobler

Todd Alan Tobler, age 49, of Hastings, passed away October 23, 2022 at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at the Giltner Community Center., 4021 Commercial Ave., in Giltner. Officiant will be Madelene Rose. Inurnment/memorial plaque placement will be at the St. Libory cemetery at a later date. The Rosary to be said at the St. Libory Catholic Church at a later date, led by Madelene Rose.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Brian L. Tobler, Marie (Dulay) McKnight, Tera and Travis Hurley and Melissa and Nate Ackles.
Todd was born Oct. 25, 1972 at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island. He is the son of Donna M. (Deaton) and Jarold (Jerry) L. Tobler.
His occupation as an adult was an “Over-the-Road” truck driver. He attended elementary school in Giltner and various other schools in Nebraska as a teenager.
As an adult he earned certificate’s in electronics, mechanics and welding at the Grand Island Central Community College.   
Todd is survived by: significant other Maria (Dulay) McKnight, mother Donna Deaton Tompkins of Grand Island, father and stepmother Jerry and Sharon Tobler of Lincoln, sister Tera and husband (Travis) Hurley, brother Brian L. Tobler and significant other Laurie V.
Todd was preceded in death by: grandparents Jeanne (Rose) Deaton of Grand Island  and Richard G. Deaton of Bakersfield, California, Rhoda (Hughes) and Victor (Vic) Tobler of Harvard and grandmother Ethel May (Drake) Rose of St. Libory.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scout Overland Trails Council # 322 - Five Rivers Council in Grand Island or an organization of your designation in lieu of flowers or plants.
Trump Funeral Home in Lincoln was in charge of his cremation.
