JoAnn Bedell

JoAnn Bedell,86, of Phillips went to her heavenly home May 1, 2021 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow visitation at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1935 in York to Harry and Lenora Englehaupt. She grew up in York and Grand Island.
She was united in marriage to Denton Bedell on Sept. 30, 1967 in Grand Island. Afterwards the couple lived in Rangely Colorado. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lakey; daughter, Rhonda Wescott; sister, Dorothy Thein Judge; two grandchildren, Tyler Wescott and Jennifer Lakey; one great-grandson, Eathen Rowe; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Etta Mae Nation and brother, Jerry Englehaupt. Condolences can be left at www.livson.com.
