For the second time this season, all four area teams won out on the football field.

Despite wild wind conditions, Hampton held on late to defeat St. Edward 48-40, moving its record to 6-1 on Homecoming night. Jack Bullis scored four rushing touchdowns in the game while throwing for a fifth. 

The Hawks move on to the final week of the regular season for a highly anticipated matchup against Stuart for a district championship. Stuart comes into the game with a 5-2 record. 

Aurora made quick work of Fairbury on the road, 42-6 and will finish out the regular season at home next week against Central City.

High Plains held off a sporty Fullerton squad, 32-20 and finishes the 8-man regular season with a 5-3 record. The Storm are going back to the playoffs for the first time as a non-cooperative since 2016. The 8-man brackets will be posted Saturday morning and begin next week.

Giltner finished the regular season on a high note, defeating Palmer 36-24 and end the year with a 3-5 mark.
